Item Details
A fine Victorian rosewood occasional table of octagonal form, featuring a beautifully figured top centred with an elegant floral marquetry medallion and framed by delicate boxwood line inlay. The moulded edge enhances the crisp outline of the top, highlighting the rich colour and grain of the rosewood.
Raised on four gracefully shaped cabriole legs with contrasting inlaid stringing, united by a shaped X-frame stretcher with a circular inlaid centre. The table stands on original ceramic castors.
Good antique condition throughout, with light surface wear and minor historic marks consistent with age. Structurally sound and full of character.
