A Solid Maghogany Victorian Style Extending Table With Two Extra Leaves, Early 20th Century. Dimensions : L x closed 142cm, with two leaves in 216cm in length, Depth: 105cm, H:76cm Each leaf size 37cm x 105cm These legs are beautifully carved with fluted/clustered detailing. This particular leg form was very popular in higher-quality Victorian dining sets. Solid brass castors typical of the period and handy for moving a surprisingly weighty piece around the room. The polish is even and reflective. The legs are clean and original. Top has minor wear consistent with age but no major structural issues with this sold table. Seats eight comfortably. In all a functional quality dining table that will last many more years to come.
