Item Details
A fine pair of small-proportioned 18th Century George II antique mahogany open armchairs with out-swept arms and retaining their wonderful original colour and patina.
These cottage chairs are full of character and history, with a delightful charm that only centuries of use can impart. Look closely and you’ll spot some historical chew marks—likely the handiwork of a small, bored dog—which only add to their authentic appeal and original condition. Both have a vintage brushed velvet covered drop in seats in a much faded salmon pink colour.
A rare opportunity to acquire two chairs with such honest, untouched character.
