Late Victorian walnut break arch mantel clock standing on a raised plinth and resting on four out swept gilded paw feet and surmounted by four flame finials and a central finial.
Heavy bevelled glass door opening to a brass dial with finely matted centre, silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands. Gilded corner spandrels and a subsidiary dial for slow/fast regulation below the XII.
Eight day movement with ‘Ting-Tang’ quarter striking on two coiled gongs.
